The Farm House isn't a room — it's the whole property. The Big House and the Thatch House are joined by a central lapa with a fireplace, a long table that seats twelve, and a bar — that's where most of the cooking, eating, and late-evening conversation happens. The Outside Room sits on its own, quieter and a little apart, ideal for a couple in a larger group. The whole property is on a small game-fenced reserve with a dam, a waterfall, and a great deal of sky. There are two ways to book: the base package (R3,300 a night) is the Thatch House and the Outside Room and sleeps up to seven; the whole property (R5,500 a night) opens the Big House as well and sleeps up to fourteen. Either way you have the grounds, the lapa, and the water to yourselves. Linen and blankets are provided.

Big House
The main homestead. Private double bedroom, two loft sleeping areas with five singles, generous living space, fireplace, kitchen, bathroom with bathtub and verandah overlooking the lawn and stream, with glimpses of the waterfall and mountains.
Thatch House
A cosy thatched house with a semi-private double bedroom and balcony overlooking the lawn, stream and mountains. Three single beds in the loft, bathroom with shower, and an indoor/outdoor kitchen opening onto the main lapa.
Outside Room
A quiet, separate ground-level double bedroom with private bathroom and bathtub. Large windows overlook the lawn and mountains. Perfect for grandparents or couples wanting a little more privacy.
